Default Buying Mixed Pallets to sell on ebay

Hi, I though I'd share some experiences I've had recently.

New Year has come and I am looking forward to selling the rest of my stock, just before Christmas I found a company on the internet that was advertising the recession busting pallets, (found here) which of course, as I am sceptical about buying stock without an inventory, I was able to speak to a salesman, who (I AM A SPAMMER - DONT BUY FROM ME)(I AM A SPAMMER - DONT BUY FROM ME)(I AM A SPAMMER - DONT BUY FROM ME)ured me that the pallet would contain approximate £5500 worth of retail, and would only cost me £400… this works out at less than 10%.

All the stock is brand new and still in original boxes, worst scenario I have presents for a few years…so stuck my toes in the water and gave it a go. I decided to go for the un inventoried mixed pallet to save money, as mixed pallets wit inventories tend to cost in the region of 20% of the original RRP.

Dec 14 the pallet arrived, unfortunately the hauliers couldn’t get up my drive so me and the wife had to handball it off, once unloaded and all in the garage, it was exciting to open up the boxes to see what we had.

The larger items £15+ we have put aside to list on eBay, a lot of these items are not seen in the shops…so with a bit of research, good photographs and listed, we were expecting to get around £15-£20 for each item,…but got in the region of £45, we have been really impressed with the sales of some of these items.

Over the Xmas period we relaxed on the sales to enjoy the holidays, but now the New Year is here it is time to start selling the stock and I am sure that over the next couple of days we will be ordering another recession busting pallet.

Ordering a mixed pallet with no inventory is not a bad thing….some things will make you wonder…however some of the items we are the only people selling them, which means that we are able to fetch good money for the items.

Mixed pallets can be profitable if you work it right, takes a bit of time to list the items and to sort through what you have got and where to sell it but it works out in the end.

The smaller items we have decided to go to local boot sales and markets and it all goes to earning that extra income!

I think these mixed pallets are definitely the way to find your niche.

Hope you found this helpful.
